How UWM Helps Finance the American Dream

For today's episode of "Financing the American Dream," I took a trip to Pontiac, Michigan, to meet with CEO Mat Ishbia of United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM). UWM has helped countless people achieve the dream of homeownership, which is likely why Mat's company is known as America's No. 1 wholesale mortgage lender.

Walking through the UWM facility's full-size basketball court, we talked about how Mat's vision all began when he played for Michigan State in college. He used a lot of what he learned from his coaches and teammates on the court and applied it to business. It's easy to see the influence - there's all kinds of basketball memorabilia found throughout the corporate headquarters.
